Silicone Release Agents
We have been distributing Dow Corning products since 1973. Dow Corning are the largest and most respected Silicone company in the world. We offer a wide range of products designed specifically for use in release and lubrication problems. As well as offering the Dow Corning range we also formulate certain products ourselves. These are unique formulations and blends sold under our trade name, Allcosil.
Intercures
Intercures are a range of curatives that are used in Flouroelastomer and Ethylene-Acrylic compounds. Currently available are Numbers 1, 3, 4 and 7. We are also able to offer these in a 70% masterbatch form.
Crumb and Granules
With our own facility we offer a wide range of ground and granulated products. Our speciality is being able to take customers own scrap and grind it fine enough so that it can be incorporated back in the original compound whatever the quality of that compound may be. Our unique operation is such that we can quickly change from one grade to another without cross contamination. We now also offer Flouroelastomer Crumb in a range of colours and cure types.
Pigments
We have a wide range of inorganic pigments mainly based on Iron Oxide. There are 8 shades of Red, 3 shades of Yellow as well as Black, Brown and Purple. Also available is Green Chromium Oxide and Titanium Dioxide.
Processing Aids
Used to aid the compounding process, products in this category includes Petroleum Jelly and Pine Tar.
Reclaimed Rubber
We are the largest UK based suppliers of Reclaimed Rubber with over 50 years of experience offering a range of grades of different qualities and made from different polymer bases.
Factice
This product founded J. Allcock and Sons. It is a sulphur cross-linked oil that is used as a rubber substitute, a softener, and processing aid, especially in soft compounds such as Printers Blankets, Rollers and Sponge compounds. Not only do we still sell basic Factice we offer the unique service of being able to grind and then fine grind Factice for compounds where dispersion is a problem.
Cri-Tech (Dispersions)
We offer a range of dispersion used in the compounding of Flouroelastomers. These dispersions include Magnesium Oxide, Calcium Hydroxide, Calcium Oxide, Lead Oxide, Lead Phosphite and Lead Stearate all in a Flouroelastomer base.
Fillers
To compliment our products we offer a range of inorganic fillers such as Barytes, Talc and Calcium Carbonate both as ground Limestone and Whiting.
Carnauba Wax
We offer T1 & T3 Prime Yellow Carnauba Wax in powder and flake forms. This product is used as a processing aid in Flouroelastomer formulations.
Chlorinated Polyethylene
We currently offer CPE that originate in China. These grades have Chlorine contents of 30%, 35% and 40% and are of equivalent quality to what is available elsewhere.
