Andrew, our Managing Director, is the son of the former Managing Director and former owner, Mr Ronald Rushton.
In 1982 Andrew completed his degree in Chemistry & Business Studies at the University of Salford. In 1983 he joined the family business as a Sales Representative.
After a very successful 6 year period of being Sales Representative for J. Allcock & Sons, Andrew was promoted to Commercial Director in 1988.
By 1996, Mr Ronald Rushton had retired and his successor, Mr Bob Howard, was also retiring. In April 1996, Andrew was appointed as Managing Director, and is now the company's longest serving MD.
During his time as Managing Director, Andrew has expanded J. Allcock & Sons product range and bought and incorporated Wellington Rubber Company Ltd.
As of January 2014, Keith has now taken over from Arthur as Works Manager.
Keith's role as Works Manager, includes managing the production lines, being the chief engineer, and handling the buying and selling of scrap rubber.
Keith was later promoted to the position of Operations Director.

Susan, who is an ACCA qualified accountant, joined J. Allcock & Sons in the spring of 2016.
Susan took on the role of Finance Manager.
Educated at Newton Heath Technical College, which became John Dalton College, and was then incorporated into UMIST, Norman gained the ultimate rubber qualification, the AIRI in 1966.
Norman originally joined J. Allcock & Sons Ltd in 1996, initially on sales and finally as Operations Director. At the age 65 in Dec. 2003 he retired and became a restless OAP, but not for long. In Jan 2004 Norman started Polymer Consultations and worked part time for a number of companies, both locally and in Yorkshire, advising on technical matters (including MOD), the operation of ISO quality systems, the REACH requirements, and some Health and Safety aspects.
Norman currently works solely for J. Allcocks, (still part time) maintaining the quality system etc, he has completely re-written the manuals to comply with ISO 9001:2015.

Jo now runs of the Sales Office. She is usually the first point of contact for our customers and look after all that entails, including the operation of that portion of the accounts system. She will check the details of your order and ensure that that it is processed quickly and correctly and that the necessary information is circulated.

The works team, led by Noel Devlin, are responsible for the production of rubber crumb, granules, shred and the day-to-day work on the site.
Our works team are members of the local community and are trained to the best possible standards.
Stephen joined the team from the works in November 2014.
When Pam Donato left our employ, Stephen took on the resposibility for both positions. He is now our Purchasing Manager.
He controls and maintains the stock levels of the companies at the agreed levels and makes the required material purchases to keep the company ahead of the game.
Lisa joined the team in April 2017. She qualified in a different disipline before joining the company and has quickly taken on her in- house training and become a useful member of the team.
